“Whatever is going to happen will happen, whether we worry or not.”
In 2016, I began searching for a meditation studio. However, I was unable to find a studio that was meditation centered. I went to independently held group meditations and I loved the energy. Yet the meeting times were not conducive to my schedule. So, I continued practicing on my own and it wasn’t until this year that I felt a deep calling to start my own meditation studio. A studio that would allow its members unlimited access therefore allowing each person to meditate when it is most convenient to their schedule. Additionally, a studio that offers a supportive community of people who all share the same interest. Meditation has been transformative in my life; it has allowed me to experience more inner peace in the chaos of my day to day tasks, while also reminding me to stay present in this moment. I have suffered from anxiety for several years, and meditation is a key component in helping with my anxiety. We, as people, tend to get caught up in the “what ifs” of tomorrow; but with mindfulness and meditation, we can learn to stay present in today.
